The purpose of the Maricopa Colleges Faculty Charities Foundation is to help students attend college. Assistance may be in the form of tuition payments, payments for books and supplies, or payments for subsistence while they attend college. Assistance may also be in the form of goods or services that have been provided to the organization for the purpose of helping these students.
Assistance will be provided to any student attending any college in the Maricopa Community College District based upon qualifications for need (and available funds) as determined by the Board of Directors.
Future activities will include pledge drives targeted to faculty members (primarily) and the general public (secondarily), fund-raising events such as golf tournaments, charity sales, car washes, auctions, and other similar activities. These activities will be organized and run by officers and volunteers of the organization.
All funds raised will be used (directly or indirectly) to help students attend college. The funding for these activities will be provided by the organization.
